Ryan Clark-
The consummate privateer, Ryan Clark is still plugging away at the sport of supercross. After many years of juggling his racing career with managing his own race team Ryan is still competitive at any given race. And his team, Solitaire Racing, is still going strong. Last season Ryan chose to compete in a light schedule that included the west region 250 championship and a few nationals. This year Ryan is committed to being a front-runner in those events.
Years on Tour: 10 Victories: 2006 AMA SX 6th overall 2004 AMA SX 4th Salt Lake City
Ryan Clark started out as a skinny little kid from New Mexico with a dirt bike and a dream. Now he is slightly less skinny, older, married, living in Phoenix and focused on achievable long-term goals rather than fanciful dreams and shoot-for-the-moon wishes. During his career he has made a name for himself as one of the hardest working guys in the sport by running his own race team, racing, managing himself, negotiating with himself and writing his own contracts. He’s also been a front runner for the privateer of the year award for many years in a row. In 2010 Ryan is intent on having some fun and enjoying the sport that he has spent his life toiling away in. He is racing the 250 west region series and taking his friend, Antonio Balbi, around to the races with him in the their Dirt Lab outfit. Ryan is friendly and always willing to talk so go up and say hi. |
