Carlos Torres better known as “Chispa” is one of  Puerto Rico’s top up and coming surfers.
As a well rounded surfer he likes all kinds of surf and keeps himself busy finding waves around the island.
What ever the conditions, you are sure to find him in the right place at the right time.
He was recently spotted at one of PR ‘s premiers spots getting pitted.

Chispa is very charismatic and one of the friendliest guy's around.
His positive attitude and progressive surfing have earned him the respect of his peers both in and out of the water.
Carlos has been focused on getting a lot of editorial converge and for
his efforts he has had a very successful year, Scoring a full feature in Mundo Rad magazine
as well as multiple editorial coverage in regional web sites & other publications.

His aerial approach to surfing is one to keep an eye on for the future to come.
Making competitive surfing one of his short term goals, don't be surprised to see him turn some heads at the next couple of events.
It's just a matter of time until he figures out the winning combination.

This past Summer he traveled to the south/west coast of Nicaragua
with fellow friend Mauro Diaz and they scored perfect waves for weeks.
So make sure if you come to Puerto Rico say hi to Chispa as you will probably
see him ripping where ever the waves are on.
