With tons of Brazilians flying everywhere, Mick Fanning and Ace Buchan still managed to crush their way through a few heats and pull in some solid results. Mick, who now sits in third overall, made his way to the Semi-Finals before taking a loss to eventual winner, Jordy Smith.Mick wasn't the only one who made it through a few rounds, and Brazil saw Ace pull in an equal 5th and his best result of the year.
